To improve convenience.SOLUTION: An information providing device 3 includes: an image acquisition unit 323 that acquires a captured image obtained by photographing the surroundings of a moving object; an information acquisition unit 324 that acquires location information on the moving object when a predetermined request is made by an occupant; an identification unit 325 that identifies an object on which lines of sight are concentrated statistically using the location information; an area extraction unit 326 that extracts an area of interest on which lines of sight are concentrated in the captured image based on the captured image when the identification unit 325 cannot identify an object on which lines of sight are concentrated; an object recognition unit 327 that recognizes an object included in the area of interest in the captured image; and an information providing unit 328 that provides object information on the object identified by the identification unit 325 or object information on the object included in the area of interest.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
