Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform cyclic polling while suppressing a decrease in information collection certainty.SOLUTION: When it receives an information collection request specifying a device group, an information providing device 2-i collects self-information, adds the collected information to the information collection request, and transmits the information collection request to the other devices which have not yet received information in the specified device group. The information providing device 2-i includes calculation means 2b and determination means 2c. When it receives a second information collection request before transmitting a first information collection request to other devices after receiving the first information collection request, the calculation means 2b calculates the degree of coincidence between a first device group specified in the first information collection request and a second device group specified in the second information collection request. The determination means 2c determines whether to discard the first information collection request or the second information collection request on the basis of the degree of coincidence.
