In this information provision system, an information provision device has: a communication part receiving content information distributed from a center device 70 through a wireless device 50A, 50B communicating by a dedicated short range communication system; an output part outputting the content information; and a control part making the output part output the content information when satisfying a prescribed information provision condition. The control part is an onboard device 20 having: a summary information generation part generating a summary of the content information; a content information reception notification part notifying the reception of the content information; and a detailed information output necessity/unnecessity input part inputting whether or not to output details of the content information, output together with the summary of the content information.
