To provide an information reception reporting device and information reception reporting method facilitating obtaining of an acquisition state of information data.
This information reception reporting device 1 receives synthesized voice produced by synthesizing a voice signal and a modulated signal of an audible sound region generated by modulating the information data, demodulates the modulated signal included in the synthesized voice, and acquires the information data. The information reception reporting device 1 includes a data acquisition state determining section 14 for determining the acquisition state of the information data, and a reporting sound output section 25 for outputting a predetermined reporting sound when the acquisition state determined by the data acquisition state determining section 14 corresponds to the predetermined acquisition state. Thus, the user can easily obtain the acquisition state of the information data.
