An information recording device has: a means for receiving movement-related information related to movement of a moving body; a first nonvolatile memory for temporarily recording the movement-related information; a second nonvolatile memory wherein time for completion of writing into a block of a writing completion block size that is a minimum unit wherein the writing is completed is longer than the first nonvolatile memory; a writing means for writing the movement-related information into the first nonvolatile memory, and bringing it into a holding state; a means of reading the movement-related information of the same size as the writing block size of the second nonvolatile memory from the first nonvolatile memory; a means of writing the read movement-related information into the second nonvolatile memory; and a means of confirming normal completion of the writing into the block of the writing completion block size, and thereafter releasing the holding state of the movement-related information whose writing is normally completed of the movement-related information.
