To improve recording reproductive characteristics, light-fastness, and preservation durability by adding an oxonol compound expressed by a specific formula in a recording layer.
In particular, light-fastness can be improved substantially while maintaining a high modulation factor and reflectance in use of an oxonol compound expressed by a formula (in the formula, R1, R2 show independently a substituent respectively, (p) and (q) show independently an integer of 0-4 respectively; provided, if (p) and (q) are 2 or more respectively, two pieces of R1 and/or two pieces of R2 may form a condensed ring together with a pyridine ring in which they are respectively connected mutually, and they are combined respectively. R3 and R4 show respectively independently a branched chain alkyl group, an alkyl group having a substituent, an alkenyl group that can includes a substitutent, an alkynyl group, and an aralkyl or heterocyclic group. Besides, R1 and R2, R1 and R3, R2 and R4, and/or R3 and R4 may form a 4-7 membered cycle through their mutual connection. (m) is an integer of 2-10).
