PURPOSE: To enable an operator to select a retrieval key while confirming the number of pertinent information.

CONSTITUTION: A display/input part 1 where prescribed retrieval keys are displayed, a pen 2 with which retrieval keys are directly selected on the screen of the display/input part 1, a personal information file 41 where personal information to be retrieved is stored, and an index file 42 corresponding to each of retrieval keys are connected to a processing part 3, and the processing part 3 retrieved personal information corresponding to the combination of selected retrieval keys by the index file 42 at each time selecting retrieval keys with the pen 2 and displays the number of these personal information on the display/ input part 1.
