Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent an unnecessary manual setting operation by putting a display relating to photographing information to a second display state and permitting a display change when a photographing information control section of an electronic flash device is mounted on a camera with which data communication is infeasible.
CONSTITUTION: A mounted camera discriminating circuit 3 outputs an L level signal from an output line 3b and input lines 14a, 20a of a film sensitivity (ISO) value selecting circuit 14 and an aperture (F) value selecting circuit 20 attain L level signals. The ISO value and F value input from an ISO and F value manual input circuit 15 are then selected and outputted. An input line 24a of an ISO display circuit 24, an input line 26a of an F value display circuit 26 and an input line 27a of a light control distance range display circuit 27 attain H levels and, therefore, the ISO value and light control distance range are always kept at a display state. An input line 22a of a 'SET' display circuit 22 attains the H level signal and, therefore, the 'SET' display of the display is displayed and a photographer is urged to manually set the ISO value and the F value.
