Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information recording and/or reproducing equipment for moving a head with respect to a recording medium to perform recording and/or reproduction, a head retracting method, information recording and/or reproducing equipment capable of surely retracting the head from the recording medium about a head retraction circuit, a head retracting method and the head retraction circuit.
SOLUTION: This information recording and/or reproducing equipment comprises the head disposed opposite to the recording medium for recording and/or reproducing information on/from the recording medium, a moving means for moving the head, a capacitor charged by a power supply, and a retracting means for driving the moving means by electric charge stored in the capacitor in accordance with the voltage of the power supply to retract the head.
