PURPOSE: To improve the maximum transfer performance of a transmission line in the information transfer equipment where transferred information is divided into a variable length (m) up to a pre-specified maximum byte number (n) and the information is transferred in the transfer unit of a block formed by adding an identifier representing the type of information and a cyclic redun dancy check code used for checking the information to the divided information.
CONSTITUTION: A transmission section 1 of a transfer equipment is provided with an identifier comparator circuit 15 and duplicate transmission of the identifier is eliminated by eliminating an identifier of a succeeding block at a data selector 17 and sending the result to a transmission line 6 when the identifier of the succeeding block consecutive to a block is the same and the information included in the block is the maximum byte number (n). On the other hand, a reception section 2 is provided with an information comparator circuit 24 and an end byte of a received block is discriminated by the presence of the identifier of the succeeding block to reproduce the transferred information.
