PURPOSE: To enable a transmission signal on a patch cord to be confirmed in on-line state in an information wiring system having a wiring selector panel comprising a patch panel and a patch cord.
CONSTITUTION: In an information wiring system equipped with a wiring selector panel using a patch cord 4 comprising a cable 3 with a connector 2 jointed to both ends thereof in such a way as capable of being connected to an arbitrary connecting section in a patch panel having a plurality of connecting sections, the connector 2 of the patch cord 4 or the cable 3 is provided with transmission signal measurement ports 6. According to this construction, a transmission signal can be confirmed in on-line state by connecting the probe of each type of a measurement instrument such as an oscilloscope and a spectrum analyzer to the port 6, and erroneous wiring can be prevented.
