To preserve three-dimensional data so that working and retrieval can easily be executed by working the description of a selected operation and sound data according to the description of an object in obtained three- dimensional data.
A data open part 1 constitutes a WWW server storing the address of a data accumulation part 2 and opening information data accumulated corresponding to a user request. A user side obtains multi-madia information of a VRML document being a processing object through an internet 3 by a data acquirement part 4. A working part 6 inserts the movement of three- dimensional data obtained by a browser or movement adjusted to music and reproduces/display the result. An icon generation part 8 takes a worked image and makes it into an icon. A preservation port 7 additionally preserves a result worked by using the icon to WWW of the designated address. An individual data open part 5 can view preserved three-dimensional data by indicating it.
