Abstract:
The short-range sensitivity of an IR intrusion detector with pyro- electrical radiation receiver, which consists of two series- or parallel-connected reversely polarised sensor elements (1, 2) is considerably improved, without impairing the suppression of false alarms, by the fact that an inductive or capacitive element is arranged in parallel with or in series with one of the two sensor elements (1, 2).
