INFRARED-REFLECTIVE COMPOSITE BLACK PIGMENT, AND COATING MATERIAL AND RESIN COMPOSITION USING THE INFRARED-REFLECTIVE COMPOSITE BLACK PIGMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011037939
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an infrared-reflective composite black pigment free from harmful elements, obtained by attaching an organic pigment to the particle surface of a black pigment, having excellent infrared-reflective properties and providing excellent stability of a coating material.

The infrared-reflective composite black pigment obtained by covering the surface of the black pigment comprising a composite oxide containing Fe and Co, and further containing one or more kinds of metal elements selected from Al, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Ti, Zn, Sn, Zr, Si and Cu with a surface-treating agent is obtained by attaching 1-50 wt.% of the organic pigment to the particle surface of the black pigment, and is regulated so that the average particle diameter of the black pigment is 0.02-2.0 μm. The coating material and resin composition, using the infrared-reflective composite black pigment are also provided.
