Title:
INFRARED WIDE ANGLE SENSOR AND AUTOMATIC TRACKING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3028943
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic tracking system provided with an infrared wide angle sensor for improving the influence of noise generated by the separation from a device main body of a point to be measured capable of omitting work for initial collimation.
SOLUTION: This system is provided with plural cells opened in a light entering direction and sectioned by partition walls 23 inside a hood 20 for entering the two kinds of pulse modulation light emitted from an infrared light emitting part 32 provided on a moving body 30 installed to the point to be measured and is composed of a wide angle tracking device provided with this infrared wide angle sensor composed of infrared detectors arranged at the respective cells of the hood and a laser tracking device for emitting a laser beam, detecting the position of a light spot formed on the position detection element of return light reflected by the prism 31 of the moving body and performing laser tracking. Then, when tracking is performed to a prescribed direction by wide angle tracking, changeover to the laser tracking is performed and facing to the point to be measured is performed.
