Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ingot take-out tool which can assure safety when taking out an ingot from a casting mold.SOLUTION: A take-out member 10, which is surrounded with an undersurface 12, a side face 14 and a top face 16, is vertically penetrated through an ingot 6, which is formed by solidification of a molten metal 4 which is flown into a casting mold 2, since the undersurface 12 comes in contact with a bottom 2a of the casting mold 2. Since the take-out member 10 has a truncated conical shape with a diameter gradually decreased as approaching the top face, it can be prevented that the ingot 6 is displaced downwards from the take-out member 10. By lifting the take-out member 10 from the casting mold 2 via a hook part 20 provided on the top face 16 side of the take-out member 10, the ingot 6 is taken out from the casting mold 2, and unexpected dropping of the ingot 6 from the take-out member 10 can be prevented. Consequently, when taking out the ingot 6 from the casting mold 2, safety can be assured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
