Abstract:

To provide an inhalation device which utilizes vibration to facilitate the suspension of powder into an inhalation gas flow (for example, an inhalation air).

An inhaler (220) that utilizes a vibrator to facilitate dispersion of a powder into an air flow. One embodiment of the inhaler includes a piezoelectric vibrator (254) for vibrating the powder. A controller is provided for controlling supply of actuating electricity to the vibrator so as to cause the powder to vibrate, so that the powder flocculation can be dissolved to be dispersed to keep the powder separated by size. The powder particle to be used can further be suspended and dispersed in the air flow by an electrostatic means (232).
