Abstract:

To elucidate the effects of Hypericum extract on the whole autonomic nervous system and thus provide novel uses of the Hypericum extract.SOLUTION: An inhibitor for autonomic nerve activity contains Hypericum extract as an active ingredient. The present invention makes it possible to inhibit both activities of sympathetic nerve and parasympathetic nerve or inhibit the action of the whole autonomic nervous system. The present invention makes it possible to temporarily suppress the activity of the whole autonomic nervous system, contributing to resetting and switching the physical and mental conditions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
