PURPOSE: To obtain the subject agent used for treatment, etc., of allergosis, thrombotic disorder, etc., having an inhibiting activity for production of tumor necrosis factor and composed of a specific 11-oxo-7-thia-10-azaspiro[5.6]-dodecane 7,7-dioxide compound.
CONSTITUTION: A compound(salt) of formula I [R1 is (substituted)ar(low) alkyl; R2 is H, (substituted) low alkyl or a group of formula II (A is low alkylene and X is halogen); (n) is 0, 1 or 2; Y is CH2CH2 or phenylene of formula IV], [e.g. (1S,6S)-1-phenylmethyl-10-(3-pyridylmethyl)-11-oxo-7-thia-10- azaspiro[5.6]dodecane 7,7-dioxide, etc.] is mixed as an effective component with a disintegrator such as calcium, carboxymethyl cellulose, etc., a binder such as hydroxypropyl cellulose, an excipient such as crystalline cellulose and a lubricant such as magnesium stearate and compressed and formulated to give the objective inhibitor for production of tumor necrosis factor.
