Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a small rotary encoder at low cost.
CONSTITUTION: Outer diameter of a board 4 is set substantially equal to or smaller than the outer diameter of a rotary disc 1 while a contactor 5 is formed into a clip for clipping a check terminal 41 provided on the board 4, and protrusions 42 for positioning the contactor 5 are provided on the outer periphery of the board on the opposite sides of the check terminal 41. The contactor 5 is fit, at the guide part 52 thereof, between the protrusions 42 and brought into contact with the check terminal 41 from the outer peripheral side of the board 4 in order to detect the quantity of electricity thus performing electrical regulation.
