Abstract:

PURPOSE: To greately shorten the time required for decompression of a washing/ drying system by starting a decompression of the washing/drying system thus far kept at an atmospheric pressure instantaneously in practical use to reduce the pressure to a set value from the state when a start switch is ON.
CONSTITUTION: In a dry cleaning apparatus, the pressure is reduced in a washing/drying system 1 and when a pressure detection means 6 detects that the degree of the decompression reaches a set pressure, a nitrogen gas feeding valve 3 is opened with a microcomputer control section 7 so as to feed nitrogen gas to the washing/drying system 1 from a nitrogen gas tank 4. Then, when the pressure inside the washing/drying system 1 reaches the atmospheric pressure, the feeding valve 3 is closed and the operation is shifted to a washing process. In this case, the washing/drying system 1 is connected to a distillation system 2 with a pipeline 13 having an air balance valve 12 and, in the initial operation time of the apparatus, the air balance valve 12 is opened only for a specified time length and closed to equalize the pressures of both the systems 1 and 2 quickly. Thereafter, a vacuum pump 10 is driven to reduce the pressure in the washing/drying system 1 to a set value.
