PURPOSE: To provide an injection compression mold not damaging the side surface of a molded product at the time of mold opening after the completion of molding in such a state that a resin is prevented from leaking to the outside of a cavity at the time of slight opening.

CONSTITUTION: A mold consists of a fixed template 2 and a movable template 3 forming a cavity 1 and a stripper plate 8 is provided to the outer periphery of the cavity 1 of the movable template 3 in close contact with the parting surface 6 of the fixed template 2. A hook 12 holding the close contact state of the fixed template 2 and the stripper plate 8 is provided to the fixed template 2. The stripper plate 8 is held by the hook 12 in such a state that the stripper plate 8 and the fixed template are brought to a close contact state and, thereafter, the stripper plate is slightly opened to widen the cavity 1. A resin is charged in the cavity 1 in a slightly opened state and, thereafter, mold clamping compression molding is performed. After the completion of molding, the hook is released to open the mold. Since the stripper plate does not come into contact with the side surface of a molded product when the mold is opened, the molded product is not damaged.
