Abstract:
To provide an injection device and casting method for a die-cast machine capable of accurately detecting the timing of a completion of hot water supply, accurately adjusting the amount of hot water supplied, and stabilizing the molten metal temperature.SOLUTION: Provided is an injection device for a die-cast machine, the device including: a main body sleeve, the leading edge of which is connected to the mold cavity and the rear side of which is provided with a molten-metal supply pouring port; an adjustment sleeve positioned rearward from the pouring port and combined coaxially with the main body sleeve; and a hot-water supply volume adjustment hole. Also provided is a casting method that comprises: calculating the angle of rotation of the adjustment sleeve on the basis of the preset hot water supply rate; supplying molten metal into an injection sleeve from a hot water inlet after adjusting the position of the hot water supply rate adjustment hole by rotating the adjustment sleeve to achieve the calculated angle of rotation; and starting a forward movement of a plunger following the completion of discharge of molten metal from the hot water supply rate adjustment hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
