To provide an injection molding machine wherein the unbalance of forces in upward/downward directions in toggle link type clamping mechanism is removed so as to reduce bad influence upon each part to give improved durability of the machine, and lowering qualities of a produce and moldability can be prevented.
The other edge part 22b of a guide rod 22 is placed in off-set in a position higher than the central part of a movable die plate 10 in a rod support side 26, so that a cross head 23 is positioned at the same height with the movable die plate 10 under such a situation that the cross head 23 is gone down by rattling caused by a weight difference in each part, dimension difference in each part and clearance in a sliding part upon clamping, whereby acting of an unbalance forces in upward/downward directions to the cross head 23 can be prevented.
