To provide an injection molding machine capable of effectively generating absorptive power of an electromagnet.
The injection molding machine includes: a first fixing member to which a fixed mold is loaded; a second fixing member arranged opposed to the first fixing member; a first movable member to which a movable mold is loaded; and a second movable member combined with the first movable member and travels together with the first movable member. The second fixing member and the second movable member compose a mold clamping force-generating mechanism to generate the mold clamping force, the mold clamping force-generating mechanism has the electromagnet and a suction section, and the suction section has a parallelizing section to make a flux vector parallel with the mold clamping direction, wherein the flux vector comes from the electromagnet and passes through the gap between the electromagnet and the suction section.
