Title:
INJECTION SYSTEM FOR HIGH TEMPERATURE OXYGEN INTO BLAST FURNACE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3766553
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can improve the operation of a blast furnace by supplying the injecting air together with fuel and oxygen and feeding them into the blast furnace.
SOLUTION: An injected air flow 3 is fluidized in an injecting pipe communicated with a tuyere in the side wall of the blast furnace and the fuel is supplied into the injected air flow 3 in the injecting pipe 6 through a fuel lance 8. The high temp. oxygen is supplied into the injected air flow 3 from a high temp. oxygen lance 9. Then high momentum and high temp. oxygen jet creates the intense mixing action for mixing and accompanying the fuel into this oxygen jet, and the volatiled component in the fuel is rapidly volatilized. Any additional mixture for starting the combustion of the fuel is unnecessary.
