Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve an adaptive ability for such as the fluctuations of a fuel injection system by feed back controlling the actual explosion timing of an engine taking target exposion timing estimated by an electrical operating means as a target value.

CONSTITUTION: An explosion detector 3 is arranged on an engine, and actual explosion timing when fuel injected into a cylinder fires and explodes is detected as an electrical signal. And, the actual explosion timing is fed back as a controlled result to perform an error detection against target explosion timing computed according to the detected signals for each operating condition, and an electrical driving output is generated for driving an injection timing adjusting means 5 according to the error, allowing an injection timing controlling device to perform the error correction of the actual explosion timing against the target explosion timing to be established. In this way, set explosion timing can be realized without bad influences due to the aging change of an injection system and the property of fuel.
