Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form images with uniform density by keeping at a constant thickness of a film of ink by filling a thermally dissolved ink into an ink carrier constructed of meshed substance.

CONSTITUTION: An endless belt type ink carrier 1 is constructed of a meshed substance threaded with stainless steel fiber 1a, and these meshes are formed into a film of a thermally dissolved ink by its own surface tension or filling up, and the film is controlled to a required thickness determined according to the diameter of the stainless steel fiber 1a. When this is applied to an electric printing method, a heat-resistance insulating film such as teflon is provided on the surface of the stainless steel fiere 1a.
