Abstract:

To provide ink for a color filter excellent in droplet discharge stability that enables a color filter excellent in uniformity of characteristics between individuals in which color irregularity and density unevenness in each part are suppressed to be manufactured suitably.

The ink for a color filter is used for manufacturing a color filter with a droplet discharge device equipped with a droplet discharge head having a plurality of nozzles. When the ink for a color filter of 25°C is discharged as droplets with the use of 5-10% of the plurality of nozzles, the relationship of IWMIN/IWMAX≥0.995 is satisfied, where IWMAX[pg] represents an average weight of the droplet of the nozzle whose average value of the weight of the droplet discharged is the largest, and IWMIN[pg] represents an average weight of the droplet of the nozzle whose average value of the weight of the droplet discharged is the smallest.
