Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink composition for writing instrument which prevents a precipitate with time, can keep a stable ink composition for a long period of time, and is excellent in storage stability, even when aqueous ink for writing instrument using an acidic dye is stored in an ink storage section made from glass, and to provide an ink storage body storing the same.SOLUTION: An aqueous ink composition for writing instrument is formed from an acidic dye, sodium omadine and water and has calcium ion concentration in ink of 70 ppm or less. An ink storage body stores the aqueous ink composition for writing instrument in an ink storage section made from glass. Preferably, the aqueous ink composition for writing instrument further contains an antiseptic agent. Further preferably, in the ink composition for writing instrument, 0.01-1 wt.% of sodium omadine is contained in the ink composition, and the acidic dye is a compound having a xanthene skeleton.SELECTED DRAWING: None
