PURPOSE: To raise the stability of jetting of an ink jet head by preventing the inflow of fine air bubbles to an ink jet mechanism by a method in which a skew partition plate is provided in the ink container to divide it into plural liquid chambers vertically, and a hole leading to the upper liquid chamber is provided in the uppermost part of the partition plate.
CONSTITUTION: A skew partition plate 8 of an inclination angle of 5° or more is provided in an ink container 9 to divide it into plural chambers vertically. A hole 14 leading to the upper liquid chamber 15 is provided in the uppermost part of the plate 8 to give a sealing property such as to avoid the passage of fine air bubbles to the plate 8. When the plate 8 inclined 5° or more to the horizon, air bubbles in the lower chamber 15 move toward the hole 14 and mostly go up to the surface of ink liquid, and therefore, the flow of air bubbles toward the jet head from the supply port 7 can be avoided. Failure of ink jet by fine air bubbles can thus be prevented.
