Abstract:

To prevent ink dripping when an ink bottle is manually removed.

An ink dripping prevention device 40A includes: an ink suction pump 43 which has an ink suction port 43b, to which an ink spout 42b formed on the ink bottle 42 storing ink 41 is removably attached, and an ink supply port 43c, and sucks the ink 41 in the ink bottle 42 inside via the ink spout 42b and the ink suction port 43b in cooperation with the rotational movement when the ink bottle 42 is attached thereto, and supplies the sucked ink 41 outside from the ink supply port 43c; and a manually pump rotating mechanism 50 wherein dripping ink caused between the ink spout 42b and the ink suction port 43b is sucked into the ink suction pump 43 by manually rotating the ink suction pump 43 in cooperation with manual removal action of the ink bottle 42 from the ink suction pump 43.
