Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wash the inner surface of an ink fountain by bonding a cover film to the inner surface of the ink fountain at a time of use and merely replacing the same with a new cover film.
SOLUTION: A film having a bottom surface protecting part 15a covering the bottom surface 7a of the inner surface of an ink fountain and the flap parts 15b connected to both sides thereof is used as the cover film 15 bonded to the inner surface of the ink fountain. The flap parts 15b have the side surface protecting part 15b1 covering the side surface 10a of the ink fountain and the surplus part 15b2 held between a fountain roller 3 and the end surface of the side plate 10 of the ink fountain and, in such a state that the cover film 15 is attached to the ink fountain, the cover film 15 covers not only the bottom and side surfaces of the ink fountain but also the end surface of the side plate 10 of the ink fountain and the cover film 15 contaminated by the remaining ink 20 is replaced with a new one to simply remove the ink contamination in the ink fountain.
