PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink of magenta which can record an image having excellent color development and light resistance.SOLUTION: The present invention provides an ink of magenta comprising a first colorant and a second colorant, where the first colorant is a compound represented by formula (1), the second colorant is a compound represented by formula (3), and a content (mass%) of the first colorant is 0.25-4.00 times a content (mass%) of the second colorant in mass ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
