Abstract:
To obtain an ink jet ink composition which has a good light stability and a light hue, can provide a fast density when printed, and contains a magenta metal complex combined with a kogation prevention substance.
This ink composition contains water, a humectant, a polyvalent transition metal complex of 8-heterocyclylazo-5-hydroxyquinoline, and a kogation prevention substance containing an alkali metal salt of a monobasic organic or inorganic acid.
