Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount an ink tank on an ink jet head in safety by an easy and inexpensive method.
SOLUTION: A mechanism for securing an ink tank 11 by engaging a first claw 31 to be fixed to the side face of the ink tank 11 and a second claw 32 on a movable lever 30 with holes 41, 42 in a holder 3 is provided with a third claw 33 on the same side face as the first claw 31. Consequently, even when the tank is inserted obliquely into the holder 3, the claw 33 abuts against the end part 43 of the holder before the bottom part 211 of the tank abuts against the joint part 204 thus protecting them against damage.
