Abstract:
To provide an ink-jet printer, which can sort printed materials without employing a special mechanism and upsizing the device.
Whenever an ink-jet head unit 11 prints images on sheets of paper having the number of every group designated for sorting printed papers, a mark 41 showing an interleaving is printed by the ink-jet head unit 11 at the end of the paper normal to its conveying direction in order to form an interleaving paper P1 for inserting between sheets of paper to leave off groups of paper on sheets of paper fed next to a conveying part 12.
