Abstract:
PURPOSE: To detachably provide a head at a carriage and to effectively electrically connect the head to the carriage by eliminating the looseness of the carriage and a guide shaft by small, number of components.
CONSTITUTION: The ink jet printer comprises an electric connector 76 of a carriage 70 side, and an energizing member 7 for giving a pressure contact force to the electric connector 64 of a head 60 side and giving the pressure contact force between a guide shaft 12 and the carriage 70. The member 77 is housed in a void space S adjacent to both the shaft 12 and the head 60.
