Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a low-cost ink jet printing head which has high reliability and high printing quality with low characteristic irregularity even in the case of a multi-nozzle.
CONSTITUTION: An ink channel 110 for supplying ink to an ink chamber formed of a nozzle plate 105 having a nozzle opening 102, a partition late 104 and a vibrating plate 103 has a supporting member 120 for fixing a base plate unit so dividing and disposing a piezoelectric element 101 on a base plate 107 as to correspond to the nozzle opening to the vibrating plate, and a frame member 106 for fixing the supporting member. Further, a method for manufacturing the head comprises the step of mechanically processing a nozzle side face of the element together with the supporting member for fixing the plate unit disposed on the base plate for fixing a bulklike piezoelectric element.
