PURPOSE: To provide an ink-jet printing method giving a high-quality printed product having high sharpness, denseness and picture quality and free from spreading of the ink and produce a printed product having excellent characteristics.

CONSTITUTION: This ink-jet printing is carried out by using a cloth having a water-absorptivity of ≥3sec in conformity to JIS-L1096A (dripping method), controlling the density gradation by varying the ejection amount of the ink per unit area of the cloth and adjusting,the ejection amount of the ink for the printing at the maximum density to 8.0-35.0mg/mm2 for each kind of the ink.
