The ink-jet recording device is equipped with a frameless-condition judgement means for judging whether the frameless printing is possible under the present printing condition, a frameless job data conversion instruction means for giving the instruction for converting the job data memorized in a memory means into the frameless job data, an image area detection means for detecting the image area from the job data, a frameless conversion magnification calculation means for computing the conversion magnification into a frameless image based on the image area detected by the image area detection means and the present printing condition and a frameless job data conversion means for converting the job data into the frameless job data with the conversion magnification computed by the frameless conversion magnification calculation means.
