CONSTITUTION: In a recording solution containing a coloring material, a water- soluble solvent, when pressure loss of the recording solution in passing through a filter having 12-13μm effective permeability dimension and 18μm absolute elimination ratio of liquid is P0 and pressure loss after passing of 20ml of the recording solution through the filter having 4.5mm diameter is P20, Pcal calculated by formula I [Pcal is calculated value of pressure loss (kgf/m2) of recording solution; Q is flow rate (1/minute/m2) of the recording solution passing through the filter; η is viscosity (cps) of recording solution at 25°C; η0 is viscosity (cps) of water at 25°C)] satisfies formula II and formula III to give the objective recording solution.
