Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the work to replace a cover for the ink pan of a gravure printing machine comprising a pan part and a printing plate side part on both sides of the pan part.
SOLUTION: This ink pan cover is molded in a thermally fusible film using a heat sealing process, so that the cover is of such a shape as provided with a flat pan cover part 11 covering the pan part 21 of an ink pan 20 and baggy side cover parts 12 to be placed on printing plate side parts 22 on both sides of the pan cover part 11. This new ink pan cover is a single-piece cover to be spread across the pan part 21 and the printing plate side part 22 of the ink pan 20, son that the work to replace the cover is simplified compared to a conventional-type ink pan cover.
