To provide an ink pot for use in the case of inking in wood material or the like, performing accurate inking work even in a narrow place having an obstacle.

An ink thread presser is fitted to the tip of the ink pot body to freely go in and out, and an ink thread engagement recessed part directed toward the tip and an ink thread engagement recessed part directed forward obliquely are formed on the ink thread presser. A holder provided with continuous projecting and recessed parts is fitted to the tip of the ink pot body, and on the other hand, a spring piece provided with a projecting part engaged with the projecting and recessed parts of the holder is assembled in the holder. A mover where the ink thread presser is formed is disposed at the tip, and the resilient force of the projecting part of the spring piece is controlled by an operating tool disposed on the upper part of the mover.
