PURPOSE: To obtain an ink printing device having a high recording speed and uniform ink grain diameter, by comprising a rotary drum having a minute slot formed in the side face of the outer circumference, electrode, ink supplying means and electric circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary drum 1 is formed by notching in a water repellent coating 1b provided on the surface of a metallic cylinder 1a having the smoothly finished peripheral surface, a solt 5 reaching the depth to the surface of the cylinder 1a in the axial direction in one-picture interval, and a part of the peripheral surface of the drum 1 is provided to be immersed into the ink of ink reservoir 2. Many needle electrodes 3a are arranged linearly in parallel with the rotary shaft of the drum 1 to be opposed to the side face of the outer circumference of the drum 1 putting a recording paper 4 between them and a multistylus 3 is arranged in the both sides of the electrode 3, in which tabular auxiliary electrodes 3b are provided. A recording voltage is selectively applied to the metallic cylinder 1a and multistylus 3 in response to a picture signal from a recording voltage control circuit 6. The ink is supplied through a pipe 7 and change-over valve 8 to an ink chamber 2a of the reservoir 2.
