PURPOSE: To obtain visible images on both side surfaces of a sheet by transferring ink containing particles of more than two types having different diameters onto a porous sheet, irregularly disposing the larger particles on the surface to be transferred and reaching the smaller particles on the back surface.
CONSTITUTION: An ink 5 is obtained by dispersing colored particles having 800W5,000 in size, colored particles having less than 50 in size and magnetic particles as required in a dispersing medium. Then, the ink 5 in a supply tank 6 is sucked by a magnetic field formed by a raising magnet 3 and a supplying magnet 4 provided on a substrate 1, and is supplied on a multistylus 2, thereby forming a meniscus 7. An electric field or a magnetic field is applied from a power unit 9 between the multistylus 2 and the paired electrodes 8 according to an image signal, thereby flying the end of the meniscus 7 onto porous sheet 11 such as sheet on a roller 10, the larger particles are irregularly disposed on the surface of the sheet 11, the smaller particles are arrived at the back surface of the sheet 11, thereby forming images on both side surfaces of the sheet 11.
