Abstract:
To provide an ink replenishing container that can appropriately replenish ink into an ink tank and an ink replenishing system including such ink replenishing container.SOLUTION: An ink replenishing container 63 comprises: a container main body part 64 having an ink storage chamber 76; an ink outlet formation part 66, provided at an end part of the container main body part, in which an ink outlet 65 through which ink can flow out from the ink storage chamber is formed; a valve 74, provided in the ink outlet formation part, which seals the ink outlet so that the outlet can be opened and closed; and a positioning part that positions the valve wit respect to the ink tank by contacting a portion at an ink tank side when the valve is opened. The positioning part has a positioning surface 84, positioned at the opposite side of a side at which the container main body part is positioned with respect to the valve, which extends in a direction in which the surface crosses a center axis 85 of the ink outlet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
