Abstract:
To provide an ink ribbon, capable of easily cleaning a print head without compelling a user to perform a special operation such as installation of a cartridge dedicated for cleaning.
In the ink ribbon 20 having an ink layer 22 formed on a surface contacting with a recording medium, a cleaning layer 23 for cleaning the print head 11 is formed on at least one of the reverse side of its front end in a delivering direction 51 and the reverse surface of its rear end 24 in the delivering direction.
