Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an ink ribbon device, in which no static electricity is generated due to friction even by using a plastic film in the ink ribbon device employed for a wire dot printer used as an output device such as a computer.
CONSTITUTION: In an ink ribbon device, to which an ink ribbon 11 formed by coating one surface of a plastic film 11a with ink is charged and in which the ink ribbon is fed, the ink ribbon device is constituted by providing an electrostatic generation preventive agent applying means 21 for coating the other surface of the plastic film 11a with an electrostatic generation preventive agent 20 for preventing the rubbing of the plastic film 11a with others and the generation of static electricity with ribbon-feed.
