Abstract:
To provide data necessary for printing control without the risk of data loss or data alteration with respect to a printing medium such as an ink ribbon.
In a printing medium including an ink ribbon, an antenna, a communication means for communicating with the outside via the antenna, and a memory means for storing data are provided integrally with a coloring material or an photographic medium for self color development so that data obtained by the communication of the communication means with the outside are stored in the memory means, and/or the data stored in the memory means are read out as needed so as to be outputted to the outside via the antenna.
